Phonin' in a sunset.
Edited on Sun Jan-15-06 05:58 PM by Scout1071
Taken from my pic phone just 2 days ago:

Sunset Celebration, Mallory Square, Key West, FL.

Edited to add that other pics from a real camera will be forthcoming!

5. Gracias. I have some panoramic ones coming soon.
As soon as I get around to it. Good old fashioned film. New digital camera is on my to do list this year. I have an older one, but the software messed up my computer.

But my Treo takes pretty good pics and video for a phone.

2. Coronado Beach, San Diego - taken with digital camera.

That's a pretty decent camera for a phone.

8. That's beautiful too!
I have a couple of West Coast sunsets displayed in my living room too. I love taking panoramic sunset pics with my camera.

But yes, my Treo phone takes some pretty good pics:

12. That was last month. It's glorious here today. A freakish 65 degrees.
Never thought I'd see it in January in Kansas City.

Made it nice coming back from 80 in Key West.

14. Wow. 65?!
No, there's been no climate change. No, no, not here.

Especially for a camera phone!

13. Thanks.
But the phone really gets the credit. My Treo is great for email, Internet, phone, video, calendar, contacts, and more. The only thing it's not great for? Being a phone. Unless I use a bluetooth earpiece, I don't much care for the phone function. I still have a regular cell phone that I use as well.

19. I have an HP Ipaq
It has a built-in camera, but nothing that compares to that.

6. Lovely!
Have you ever seen the green flash, or is that just a legend?

15. Really??
I thought it was just a myth. Wow, how interesting! Cool that you got the shot, but bummer about your car being broken into. That must've sucked.

I remember once spending a summer down in Naples, FL, and the big fun was lookin' for the green flash at sunset. We never did see it, but had fun trying!

16. Yeah, I used to spend a lot of time out on the weather decks, just
soaking in the planet. Saw it on the same trip that everyone was paying thousands to see Haley's comet down in Antarctica, and the government was paying me to be there :)

Yeah, the break-in was pretty bad. I was in the middle of a move between duty stations. I've lucked out, through hitchhiking and the USCG, I've been in all 50 states & on all 7 continents. Unfortunately, every single souvenir and photo I had was in the car. Oh well :) Still have the memories!

18. Wow, sounds like you've got a nice life going there, qnr!
despite the little trials of car break-ins and lost photos...

Some moments are meant to be captured in our hearts, not on cameras, right?
:)
