Anyone know how to raise the hood of a 1982 Peugot 505 STI
turbodiesal? It won't open by just lifting the hood and there is no recognizable level or button on, over, or under the dash.

Thanks.

1. I'd contact a nearby dealer..... or one with an 800 number.
Good luck!

3. .

Just kidding. If I were there, I'd get it open. Might have to spend a moment on your back looking at the latch from the bottom. As per typical automotive practice, there will be two latches. One to release the hood from the main latch, and a second, backup latch. Are you able to access the first latch? Are the hood hinges at the front or the back of the hood?

6. Check in the grill in front of the car.
Being that old, it might not have an internal hood release. Check the grill.
