Oddly enough, of all the comedians who got acting gigs in the 90s he was one of the few who could actually ACT.

Personally, I like him, but I completely understand how anybody (everybody) might disagree. He did a bit on Arsenio once that utterly slayed; up until then I hated him too.

I just couldn't bring myself to vote for my own nominee! I still don't think he is terrbly funny, but some of the other choice were so sublimely awful I had to choos a differn one.

A class of comics is the "exaggerated breath noises" comedian. Bobcat Goldthwait is a rare exception by being hysterical. Jake Johansen, not so much and there are many, many others.

I saw about 10 seconds of his latest HBO special. He had his gray beard and his granny glasses and he was riffing on how old airline stewardesses are. I was thinking, "At least they know how to do their job." It would have been funny that he was clueless enough to launch the topic, but it was just sad. It was like he was trying to be a one man Rat Pack revival but just didn't know how. Sad indeed.
