WHAT A @#*%ing day.
Edited on Mon Jan-16-06 04:18 PM by radfringe
last friday - the plotter died. got ahold of a tech guy to come and look at it. He didn't show.

so this morning - on the phone and seems there was a "miscommunication" - he said he was coming today. Of course, no show - so I have to call again tomorrow and do some yelling. He has one more chance - then I start calling someone else

meanwhile -- we have a 'special printer' for doing barcode labels. Shipping guy comes into my office this morning - says he'll need about 100 labels for an order going out end of the week. Ok, so I figure - run the labels while I'm working on the invoiceing.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Freaking 'special printer' starts screwing up. ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! After 5 hours of @#*%ing with it - and e-mails back/forth with another tech company - I end up just resetting the factory defaults. and it works. YEAAAAAAA. the only thing I can figure is that someone (maybe even me) hit some buttons accidently which sent the "special printer' into some sort of schizophrenic mode.

Meanwhile - I still have the invoicing to do --- ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH - the printer connected to that freaking system isn't working either. It's out of stupid toner and the person in charge of ordering toner forgot to order some.

by now I have a headache and say the hell with overtime today - I'm going home at regular time.

sooooooo, I get home, take the dogs out, get the wood stove going. Now I have to bring in some wood - but some of the pieces are pretty large and need to be split. On the last log, it splits beautifully down the middle and drops on my foot. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Take a deep breath. Relax. Bring in the wood, feed the cats, put down fresh water for the dogs/cats. Oh yeah, one more thing to do - reset some mouse traps

:eyes: yeah - I snapped one on my thumb.

That's it. I'm not going anywhere, doing anything more tonight\

p.s. and how was your day?

3. I am SO sorry that your day has been awful!
At least yours is over.....mine isn't!

I'm waiting for the phone to ring, or a PM to arrive.......

Nothing happening there, and I'm unhappy......

So what to do? I am at loose ends.......

I can't go down to the beach for a photo shoot, cause it's covered in raw sewage!

Why is it I let these stupid little inconsequential things bother me?

:banghead:
