Did anyone watch the MLK episode of the Boondocks last night?
There was this episode that went into this hypothetical scenario that had MLK surviving in a coma after he was shot, and then waking up in 2000. After 9/11 the VRWC started accusing him of hating America because he advocated turning the other cheek (which was his position on Vietnam and war in general.) I thought the episode did a good job of highlighting problems within the black community today, and how Dr. King would have seen them. I also like the fact that they transported him into the present to show how conservatives would treat him if he were still around.
