We knew they'd be a young team, but losing to Mizzou?

Suffice it to say, we have indeed hit rock bottom.

1. Oh gawd that sucks.
Now I understand why my kid is in a bad mood. I just got home and he seems very cranky.

2. Losing to Mizzou after being up 9 with a minute to play is painful.
Someone give the kid that missed the free throw at the end of regulation a hug. That's all I saw of the game though.

6. They are young and inexperienced. They don't lose that game next year.
And they won't. Bet. Plus, we'll take the Tigers at home this year. They will be firing on all cylinders by then...and if they aren't....chalk it up to rebuilding and inexperience. And we need Sherron Collins. #1 point guard out of Chicago, already signed for KU next year.

9. Yeah, we lost a toughie over the weekend.
Last-second shot by OU. x( Next year we'll be better too. Heck, we're not bad so far this year.

3. Sorry!
Ok, I'm not. Yeah Tigers! I turned off the game when KU was up by 4 and there were only 30 seconds left. So was surprised by your post! Had to go and check the score.

So was losing to Mizzou in Columbia worse than losing to K-State in Allen Field house?

Glad we won, all though, I'm not sure it's a good thing......It may help save Quin's job and I'm not sure it should!

There are going to be some unhappy folks in my family tonight, especially my 8 year old nephew. He loves his Jayhawks!

My family is all in the KC - Topeka area but when they moved back from Columbia I stayed here. Have worked at Mizzou for 25 years so am a loyal Tiger! Sure makes for some interesting conversations at family gatherings!

4. Relatively speaking ...
The KY Wildcats are much worse off. Did they not lose to your rebuilding team by (like) 30?!
Hope that perspective makes you feel a little better.
...O...

5. Indeed it does....
But it's still going to be a long haul this year.

When this team clicks, they are on. When they won't, they don't. Basically, when B Rush steps it up, we are on fire. He's still too timid. He needs another year to develop. I believe he'll be unstoppable next year.

But I'm not giving up on them yet. Brandon is wearing KU's magical #25. You never know what happens come tournament time.

7. Why do you blindly accept the mainstream media's assertion
that Mizzou won that game? The MSM is just a tool of Bushco, and they are the masters of mendacity and deceit. Clearly KU won that game, but the media is lying to prop up Bush and his evil minions in Columbia, Missouri. Are you in denial because the Truth make you uncomfortable?

10. i'll say it before, and i'll say it again
when I was at the UDK, and Roy first flirted with leaving back in 2000, I told people to let him go, and bring Pitino in....Everyone in the newsroom laughed at me, and now matters are worse
