The official Thanksgiving for cynics thread
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 10:43 PM by sasquatch
Let's review:

More dead in Iraq and to add insult to injury their corpse's were dragged thru the streets by Iraqi teenagers. Meanwhile the Dems are to busy kissing the Bush Crime Family's asses to try and bring back the troops.

"We love our Dubya and are DLC advisors"

Dick Gephart attacks Howard Dean because Gephart is too much of Nazistischer hahn parasit as my German ancestors would say to win the election.

The hometown head high school football coach killed himself in a motel room last week.

The economy is farther in the toilet and is not expected to recover during Christmas.(you don't need a link)

Now we begin a holiday to celebrate the slaughter of native americans and the establishment of religous fundamentalist.

Well the good news is I get a breif holiday from killing myself at the factory so they can hurry up in laying me off.

To all of you Repug, neo cons, pink tutu dems and anyone else for the occupation in Iraq. A salute

The good news is there are good football games on tomorrow:)

Have fun with your turkey dinners tomorrow:)

1. Ahhhhh....the good news is
Turkey, beer, football and (if my children let me) a nap. That's what I call a holiday.

3. And don't forget other little nicities, like...
The way the media keep hyping the total BS numbers from the BushCo Economic Offices... all I heard all week was, up, up, up on the mainstream media, and down, down, down from real people and alternative media and foreign media.

How about those crazy kids from Long Island? Good, clean-cut all-Amerikkan football players who sodomized a few freshmen at their summer football camp in PA. It was a hazing gone crazy. Not only did they manage to get tried as juveniles, which of course means nothing, they (oh, boo-hoo) had to apologize to the victims. This is justice?

Oh, I am just getting started. As the days grow shorter, so does my crumudgeon-like disgust with all things mankind.

4. I was hazed in high school and I liked it

It meant that I belonged to a certain group that remains to be nameless:) I agree with charging them as minors because they were minors. I don't agree with the sodomy though that's totally uncalled for and they should be punished as the law allows in Long Island.

5. It went beyond mere sodomy. I shant bore everyone with
harrowing details, but pine cones were involved, so was IcyHot.

In many people's opinion, it went beyond mere juvie fun... especailly since they were there in a leadership position, and one of the reasons the younger kids were allowed to go, was the number of seniors who would be there.

13. Well, I'm thankful for Mark Morford today
Who is in turn grateful for Molly Ivins,
and who also has this to say among other things:

"This Thanksgiving, as you sip the wine and hug the family and toast the friends and hoard the stuffing and curse the airport security, remember to give thanks you are not G.W. Bush. Hey, it's important.

1) Be thankful that you do not have to suffer Dubya's massive crushing karmic burden, as wrought by inflicting heaps of environmental disaster and vicious unnecessary war and a stunning string of lies lies lies like a firehose of giblet gravy splattered all over the planet.
..."

And I'm thankful for that Johnny Cash picture,
which is my favorite of him.
