Anyone else live on the edge and eat cake batter w/raw eggs?

I have tried not to eat those unless they are guaranteed not to make you sick. Every once in a great while, I'll take a chance.

That gets done after the cake or cookies are in the oven baking. i haven't gotten sick yet.

Even as a nipper my mother would let me scrape the bowl out. It got worse in my late-teens, I developed a habit of making birthday cakes for family members doused in food-colouring, so goodness only knows what was in that.

Zabaglione has raw eggs in it too - and that's super wonderfully yummy.

I've eaten raw beef, and whenever I have steak have it nigh-on raw.

Unpasteurised milk and cheese.

Some folk seem to find the idea of black-pudding and even haggis slightly distasteful - but that's just wimpish squeamishness.
