Damn, George Clooney!
Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 01:25 AM by Blue_Roses
Watching an interview he is giving to reporters at the post golden globe awards and one reporter asked him, "what do you think it would take to impeach George Bush?" Laughing, Clooney said ever so tactfully, "this probably isn't the best time to talk about this, but it is surely a conversation I would enjoy one on one."

be still my heart...

I don't think I've had a crush on a "movie star" since David Cassidy played Keith on the "Partridge Family," but damn...Clooney is looking oh, so fine these days.:loveya:

1. Did you hear his acceptance speech at the Golden Globes show.
He began by making fun of Jack Abramoff, thanked him in fact, and said he didn't know what to think off parents that would name their kid Jack when their last name ends in "off".

He is gorgeous and a liberal and honest and a patriot and gorgeous.

I love George Clooney! :loveya:

It was great! I've always thought he was cute and sexy, but now that he is older, he is coming into his "own" and I just love intelligent men:loveya:

Actually, everyone always mentions David Cassidy. I seem to remember that Bobby Sherman was just as popular back around that time. I wonder why no one admits to having liked him?

but he didn't seem to be in the public eye as much as David Cassidy. The Partridge Family was one of those shows that captivated our young minds:evilgrin:

7. Oh no, Bobby Sherman and his brothers in the show
"Here Comes the Brides", now that was my crush.

I remember David Soul was one of his brothers, but I don't remember the name of the elder brother.

She married a director who did some of the Here Come the Brides episodes named E.W. Swackhammer. He was more like the Arthur Miller type--glasses and frumpy looking. But I guess she wanted the brains!

Bobby Sherman's short-lived sitcom in which he took care of a younger sister, played by Susan Nehr (sp?) that followed the Partridge Family for at least one season. Nobody ever seems to remember it, though, I always get blank stares when I mention it.

Now the only Richard Hatch you ever hear about is the overweight naked Survivor winner.

50. Hey, Richard Hatch is now on the NEW Battlestar Galactica
He plays a political prisoner/freedom fighter named Tom Zarek, and he's just awesome. He's a very important and intriguing part of that show.

That "sci-fi show" from the 70s that you're thinking of was the original Battlestar Galactica, where Hatch played the original Captain Apollo (now played by British actor Jamie Bamber).

Mostly Hollywood Republicans seem to run - Reagan, Arnold, Sonny Bono, Eastwood, etc.

We need some of these Democrats in Hollywood to run - Clooney, Affleck, Portman
