and sometimes writer.
Career-wise, I'm a newspaper copy editor. But the newspaper business has gotten very, very ugly.

10. I don't write much at all |
|
It's mostly editing — some for web sites, some for local publications, like the chamber of commerce and other businesses and business groups. The last thing of any substance I wrote is here: http://www.govtech.net/magazine/channel_story.php/96817

Voc Rehab Counselor. I gather info from the worker, the doc, the employer, physical therapist, and anyone else involved, and, based on state law, determine whether a person is employable, needs retraining, or qualifies for pension.

Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 04:08 AM by Omphaloskepsis
20% construction/low voltage electrical work (pulling wire) 20% Repairing projectors in movie theaters
edit -- And that is % of income. The movie gig only takes up about 2% of my time. I just charge a bunch for it.

But there has to be more to it for you than just the bucks. Like with my job. Good money, but if that's all it was, well, I wouldn't have lasted 16 years!

32. Oh yes, there are intrinsic rewards to the jobs |
|
But I'll admit that as soon as I can get my Master's and get one job that will pay my bills I'll be out of here. I don't want to have to be working two jobs for the rest of my life.
