I just don't like red wine that's so transparent it's practically white....

But I hope you enjoy yours since you like it...give me the big fat stuff!

7. I love the fat stuff too
but there is something about this stuff that makes me happy. And it isn't the reduced alcohol content.

14. I love to smell it...really
Just when I drink it...I dunno...it doesn't rock my world like a big fat cab..

I rarely drink any white wines unless I get an occasional overpriced White Bordeaux...or maybe with some Thai food..

Otherwise it's cabs, blends, syrahs and once in a while a pinot noir...or Chilean riojo's

5. I Love Beaujolais
Not just the noveau variety, but the "-villages" and "plain ol'"types. The wine I remember most fondly in all the world was a sort of a Beaujolais called Chenat (by Georges deBoef, no less) that was light, fruity, and surprisingly spicy. Yum! It was about $13 a bottle, which is way above average for me, but I would snap it up again if I could ever find it.

What label did you have that was so good?

As an aside, since you're a vet, you might appreciate this. I'm reading "Beyond Glory - Medal of Honor Heroes in Their Own Words" Pretty compelling stuff. Highly recommend it. The author is Larry Smith.

22. Kool-Aid Kool-Aid tastes great
Beaujolais Nouveau is I think like Kool-Aid for adults. I liked Kool-Aid when I was a kid, and I like a cold glass of Beaujolais with certain foods now that I'm an adult. Especially when it is a good year, as this one is.

Beaujolais Nouveau has become a fun tradition every autumn for grown-ups, like Halloween.

Domaine des Feuilletes 2003 is the bottle in my refrigerator.

25. I Dig Kool-Aid
I haven't had Beauj for years; a former co-worker and I used to be all about sampling it every year, for several years. Since we've gone our separate ways across the country, I've no one to enjoy it with :(

My lips always got sooooo purple.
