23. Me too.
The earth Dog is clever and genuine. He is rational and supportive, stable and stoic. Earth gives this Dog an element of security, for he is inspiring and confident. These characters are just, certain to hear both sides before making a decision. He makes a great leader because he is such a trustworthy, diplomatic individual.

:hi:

It's always a HUGE deal in San Francisco, but I have yet to actually make it there to see the fesitivities....I'm usually too daunted by the masses and the lack of parking. :eyes:

12. You could use BART, couldn't you?
I know it's a trek down your mountainside, but you could do it......

And then you wouldn't need to worry about parking!

16. Yup, you're right. It's mostly the masses of people that turn me off.
although we did use BART a lot when we went up to the huge peace rallies....I just have to be in the right frame of mind to deal with humanity on that scale, know what I mean?

Are you having a nice day?

19. Don't dogs and rats get along well?
Dog:
People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people¡¦s confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit.

Rat:
People born in the Year of the Rat are noted for their charm and attraction for the opposite sex. They work hard to achieve their goals, acquire possessions, and are likely to be perfectionists. They are basically thrifty with money. Rat people are easily angered and love to gossip. Their ambitions are big, and they are usually very successful. They are most compatible with people born in the years of the Dragon, Monkey, and Ox.

So what do dogs and rats make when together? Presumably not cats...

25. For all of you Dog Park People:
I thought that celebrating the year of the dog could be a great fundraiser for dog parks. There could be all kinds of contests for the Chinese cresteds and Sharpeis, etc. Then there is the contest for the best dragon dancer dog. Serve meat sticks instead of joss sticks.
