I would like to apologize.

This morning I was a real ass in a thread that involved a new poster.

For those of you who have read the thread, I want to apologize to you and I want to apologize to the OP as well.

I normally try to keep my wits about me, however this morning after coming off another website that pokes fun at DU'er's ( I know...I know, I shouldn't go there ) I was feeling a bit randy. I realize that this is not an excuse, I was clearly in the wrong.

I hope that you accept my apology and I will do my best to be a better person here on the board from now on.

makes mistakes. It was a vent-worthy thread in many respects, but I'm sure that the OP honestly just didn't understand the significance and happened to phrase things in a manner that was almost guaranteed to raise some hackles.

There was one time in the lounge where I REALLY showed my ass. I wasn't being as *precise* as I knew how, I had some static from other DUers, and I lost it! EEk! I sent the ones I thought I may have been hardest on PMs, and they were very sweet back to me.

I didn't see what you were talking about here. But we all do what you're talking about occasionally. Hell, I may have even blown up at you; I don't remember because it got so heated.

Anyway, I just want to say that it's so cool of you to come out and do this.

Just teasin' :) I heard once Texas has (had?) more Democratic representatives in Congress than Republicans. Probably just a bad rap from you-know-who claiming it as his home (funny, I thought he was born in a stuffy, rich people town in Massachusetts).
