5. Oh, not again. Macs, if you must know. Old ones that run System 9. |
|
And I have three more (two G4s and a TiBook) in the closet for when the current ones wear out. Then I stop using computers.

8. Heck, when I can get Mac OSX on Intel and Linux on PPC ... |
|
Do I want my Mac on a PC or my PC on a Mac?
Decisions decisions decisions...

I'm afraid I can't stand Macs. Personal opinion on that--I'm a techie--or used to be. Want a machine whose soul I have to rescue from the devil sometimes. I've changed out my current setup about five times in ten years. Right now it could stand a new motherboard and faster processor, but as long as it doesn't give me a BSOD very often (thankfully, it hasn't happened with XP!), I'm happy as a lark.
It's changed so drastically over the years, but it (and its predecessors) have served me well since 1988, when my first setup was an 8088, with a 30MB hard drive and a 16MHz processor. *sigh* Now I'm at 160GB hard drive, a 1.1GHz processor, and I'm STILL behind in the times!!
