11. Apparently, animal non sequiturs were en vogue
in the Roaring '20s. They also had "the bee's knees" and "the snake's hips."

Crazy kids. :eyes:

3. "Dagnabbit, Luke, you been humping the sheep again, aintcha!"
Who the hell was that actor who was in so many western movies, walked with a limp, I think he was on the TV show with the Ponderosa (and Luke), and was always hitching around with his limp and saying "dagnabbit?"

Bonanza! That was the TV show.

Walter Brennan? Was that the guy? I can do a good imitation of his voice even now, but can't be sure of his name.

13. Walter Brennan; The Real McCoys...don't think he was on
Bonanza, though. He was Grandpa McCoy.

He won a couple of Oscars in the early movie days.

10. I'll bet that none of you can tell me what "lumpuckeroo" means.
My football coach used that term a lot. I still haven't figured it out, but it meant that he was mad about something.

15. One of my grandmother's favorite sentences...
"You don't need to be out there galavanting around with your friends, going to school dances, gyrating your body."

I was in high school, it was the late 80's.
