That's a knockwurst on a toasted hoagie bun with BBQ sauce, cole slaw and shoestring fries IN the bun with the sausage. Don't know if that's a Cleveland thing or if it was imported here from somewhere, but man, is it ever surprisingly good.

I assume "shoestring fries" is what we call "batata palha" (hay potato). Hard, crunchy, and pointy.

Here, shoestring just means really skinny French Fries. They're not crunchy all the way through. Apart from their narrow gauge, they're pretty much like ordinary fries.
