I remembered that you like classical music, too.

USC, huh? Them's FIGHTIN' words to us UCLAns!

Have a nice night, er, at least the next hour...

I can't help it if USC has the radio station, while UCLA doesn't!

62. Thanks so much for the wave and the compliment!
Just kidding about the USC station!

When USC played UCLA in the winter of 1959, my classmate (and now ex-husband) wanted to take me to Pasadena to see them play together in a football game. I was wearing a RED dress when he came to pick me up. He told me to change clothes, because red was a USC color. I refused to change, and he went without me.

I should have worn blue and gold, but I was pretty ornery during my late teens!

In peace,

Radio_Lady

and it should be banned as the dangerous propaganda that it is." As argued by Tommy Boyd (who probably doesn't believe a word he's saying, but is excellent at winding people up and winning good-natured, non-shouty arguments) against several US callers. If you're interested, go here and scroll down to the "Star Trek Night":

63. Some artists I discovered at..
Edited on Thu Jan-19-06 08:06 PM by mvd
discoveringartists.com. It's where I found out about Courtney Jaye and Anna Nalick.

Listening to Green To Think now. Sounds promising.

I love Mandi Perkins and Kat Parsons. Already ordered their CDs. Kat is quite attractive, too.

I liked Ingrid Michaelson, but she has an album coming out in February, so I'm waiting on her. She's also very attractive.

Didn't care for Kelly Snider and Kristin Diable.

Earlier I listened to Morningwood's CD again. I'm giving it a grade now of B+. It's good fun and kind of irreverent in lyrics. Chantal's voice is versatile. The thing they lack that artists like Jerra, Tuuli, The Donnas, The Faders, Saving Jane, The Veronicas, and Hope 7 have is some creativity.

The Strokes' CD sounds like they've grown while retaining their identity. Has a few bland spots unlike Is This It?, though.
