Just finished fascinating book re: Bushies and mind control

I know it seems far fetched, but the authors had extensive research to back up their claims. There's apparently a vast conspiracy of governmental mind control using popular television shows. It's why the Carlyle Group is si busy trying to buy media outlets ASAP. The most popular device? Rachel Ray. The authors prove that EVERY TIME SHE SAYS EVOO EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL THE VIEWER THINKS FAVORABLY OF BUSH. Get that? 100% of the time. Jesus. And that giggle of hers? 92% of viewers turn immediately to Fox News, and watch it for at least 87.9 minutes. And don't even get me started on the mind manipulation powers of her "$40 a Day" show. OMG.

I mean it, it's a great book, well researched. I can't remember the title, but the authors are Giada DeLaurentiis and Sara Moulton.

What? Did someone just say sammies??? Sorry, gotta go read the Drudge Report now...

2. You should read Franken's book

No real NEW information there but the first 2/3 of it is fall down funny.

Humor writing on a Sedaris level.

The last third is about Iraq and death and dying there so there isn't much to laugh about. He does slide in a few jokes here and there though
