Help the Hunger Site meet its holiday goal

The Hunger Site is an exceptionally cool idea: free food to the hungry, supported by advertising. By visiting the site and clicking on the "give free food" button (up to once per day), you can donate staple food to hungry souls in 74 countries. It's really that easy!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I thought I'd remind DUers that the Hunger Site is still in need of your clicks. They're attempting to fund 6 million cups of food by January 1. Together, we can make it happen!



Visiting the Hunger Site and its siblings (such as the Animal Rescue Site) takes only a few seconds of one's day. Why not make it part of your daily routine? If you have a web page, why not add a convenient link for your visitors? (See my NBA message board for an example.)

On Nov.25, you and other visitors to The Hunger Site who clicked on the "Give Free Food" button helped provide the value of 147,374 cups of staple food to the hungry worldwide. Last year, visitors to The Hunger Site funded 47,919,670 cups of food for those in need -- that's equal to about 2,717 metric tons!
