Everything Ramyon

I noticed on the "eight worst foods for you" thread in GD that people were discussing ramen, specifically feeding it to their children.

Folks, if you're going to feed your kids THAT shit, feed them Everything Ramyon.

It's called that because when you went to the ramyon stands in Itaewon looking for a good meal (okay, a meal that didn't taste like it came out of the mess hall), you always asked for "everything ramyon, ojima."

Ojima would then reach over to her pot of chicken broth, ladle out a one-cup portion into a saucepan, and bring it to a boil. When the broth was boiling, she'd drop in a Korean ramyon biscuit.

When the noodles were tender, she'd put them in a serving bowl and add a couple ounces of shredded meat--either chicken or ham--an egg (which, because the everything ramyon was still boiling hot, cooked instantly), some cheese and a little bit of green onion.

Good eating, and because there's so much protein floating around in it, probably good for you too.
