What do you like best about yourself?
What do you like least?
And what do you think other people like best about you?

2. I am not a fascist
I still suck at Defender II even after all these years.

I am not a fascist.

3. Best? My compassion and consideration.
The least? Damn near everything else.

Other people? I can always cheer people up and/or point out the positive in a situation.

4. How coincidental is it
that you started this thread three minutes before I started this one? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x4616148 :hi:

Anyway...

I suppose what I like best is I really try to understand things, especially the way people think and why they do what they do. As an adjunct to that, perhaps, I'm considerate of others.

Usually.

Least? I've been known to get disproportionately angry, especially when dissed. But I sometimes have a distorted sense of what's a diss and what isn't.

Others seem to like my wit. (They really should get out more.)

8. My answers to my own question -
I guess what I like best is my independence and strength.

What I like least is my difficulty in letting people get close to me.

And I haven't the faintest idea what anyone else likes about me! Maybe my sense of humor (if they get it).

9. My compassion and empathy
And yes, I'm serious - it might not come out here all the time, what with the rants, but those are just rants. People tell me often that they appreciate my compassion and my empathy. And my sense of humor.

What I like most about myself, and am most proud of, is my broad base of knowledge and the intelligence to link it all together holistically, and the intelligence and logical emotional-detachment to solve problems and see many sides of an issue. Which, curiously, I've heard constantly from people how impressed they are with my intelligence; but yet I've never had anyone say that's what they like best about me, or value the most about me. It's not something that I necessarily value most in other people, either; though I do value it highly.

Food for thought, yes? That which I value most about myself is not something which others value most, nor what I value most in others. And yet, a lot of my self-definition is wrapped up in it; and the loss of that part of me is the part of me that I most fear losing.
