My wife's cell phone drowned...
So I popped the SIM card into an older phone we had, and she's using that (we have T-Mobile, and yes we're on a contract). But she misses her flip phone.

My question is, if I buy a flip phone on ebay (similar to her drowned one), can she just put the SIM card into it, and use it? Or does the flip phone I buy have to be a "T-Mobile enabled" one?

1. You can just by a phone, yes.
So long as it is one T-Mobile uses. There's some phones that several companies use, like Nokia. Then there's some that are specific to the company.

2. Toilet magnetism.
Cell phones and pagers are always flying off into the toilet.

I once worked in a place where I had to take calls from people who needed emergency replacements for their pagers. Toilets were by far the most common cause of these "drownings."

6. I dropped my fone in toilet but then quickly dried it off with a blow dry-
er. It works fine. The biggest dangaer is water sitting in the compnents and stuff getting rusty.
