So musicland corp is declaring bankruptcy.
You still planning on going to their music stores (aka Musicland and Sam Goody), and the video store (Suncoast)?

1. I always found them to be overpriced...
why would I spend 20 dollars for a CD that I could get at Circuit City across from the mall for 13?

2. I have to agree with that one
Circuit City, Best Buy hell even K-Mart sells CDs cheaper than most stores. Ok, mind you their selection is kinda crapy but if it's something that has been released wide-spread I might as well go where I can get it cheapest!

4. They're re-organizing
Best Buy bought them out a few years back. I know a few people who got laid off at Musicland Group after the BB buyout.

They may come back, but probably not in their present form.

5. Waaaaay too expensive.
I haven't shopped at a Musicland or Sam Goody in years. Best Buy and Target are much cheaper.

6. I usually buy my CDs online
from amazon.com, cdbaby.com and circuitcity.com. Sam Goody is overpriced, too.

7. Suncoast is overpriced, but I've always been impressed by their selection.
They often have music DVDs I've NEVER seen in any other store, including places like Tower and HMV.

8. I go to Tower, since they're local.
I got something* at Suncoast years ago that wasn't available elsewhere, but these days I'd just order it on the internets.

*something= the boxed set of Kindred: The Embraced. I am a dork.
