You know what blows my mind? When somebody asks a question.
And people reply to it. And then the somebody who asks the question gets all snippy because they "know 'that'" already. Why ask a question if you are not going to be gracious with regard to answer?
That said, I'm sorry I answered a question. :hi:

2. Gah! That gets me riled up too.
If the person asking the question will provide their level of existing knowledge, then those that wish to answer can provide more educational information.

6. Very true! That is exactly what I was thinking. This person asked
a simple question, and was put off by some simple answers that they apparently "knew" already. :hi:

:hi: I couldn't believe the apparent lack of gratitude. People were just trying to be helpful.

10. Lol..try that with a cardiologist sometime
"Does her COPD always sound like that?"
"no, that's heart failure and she's clearly aspirating into her lungs since last night"

"I know that"

Well then why did you ask?

16. It's even more irritating
when a person asks a question and then answers it him- or herself. Maybe it just grates on me because Rumsfailed does it all the time, but still. Cut that out!

Damn it! Way to make myself look like a complete ass...

I'm so sorry. I hope the first word that comes to mind from now on when you see me around isn't 'jerk.' I wasn't intending to criticize you--ftr, the neocons have dibs on all my ire for the foreseeable future. (Like I said, Rumsfeld does it all the time and it drives me crazy because he does it in a way that's completely condescending.)

17. I sometimes think that some
posters get up on the "wrong side of the bed" and are just itchin' for an argument. Some of the things I have read don't make any sense, but are clearly aimed to offend someone.

30. Friend of mine was having computer problems once
She needed to reboot, but her computer didn't respond to normal commands; it wouldn't even turn off. (Windows...) :eyes:

I said the first thing that came to mind: "Hold the button in."

She went ballistic on me because I'd insulted her intelligence. I mean her head imploded and we didn't speak for like two months after that.
