it sucks, and my blood pressure keeps rising as the lies keep spewing. Now I am playing a "best" of Hannity...but I figured out a way to ease my pain....when Hannity gets all rightous and starts whining about liberals etc I am playing (subtly) a crying baby sound effect in the background. Not over the top, just enough that if I get called on it I will just say I made an oopsie with the equipment. During his rant about Kennedy calling Bush* a liar and how it is beyond the pale he invoked Clinton's name (of course, when in doubt break out the Big Dog.) anyway...when he started into that, I played the twilight zone theme.
:evilgrin::evilgrin::evilgrin::evilgrin:
edited to add : and I am playing the most liberal PSA's I can find in the system as well for filler.

A few days of listening to that crap and I was about to have a stroke. I don't know whether to admire you or suggest you seek professional help!
Run away and don't look back!!!!!! Though, come to think of it, you could notify everyone of the particularly psychotic words that spew out of their mouths so we could have a good laugh every now and then.
Good luck.
The sound effects may piss off some of the devoted flock.

but it is double pay, and I need the dough. It's not often I have to do it, so I can suck it up a bit. It really is stunning...the exchange between Hannity and Senator Kennedy was pretty good. Hannity said it was "beyond the pale" that Kennedy called * a liar regarding Iraq. Kenedy started a rant worthy of DU and went off about no WMD, and all the crap we were originally told and that those lies were the ones he was calling * on. Then Hannity went into the whole liberate them crap. Anyway...like I said it isn't easy. Now some blow hard is calling the Dems snotty...once again, it's ok for them to call us names but when we call them names, forget about it. The hypocrasy is truly unbelievable.

4. You're a trooper! Luckily at my station, we have Bush dartboards |
|
Some of our clients are rightwing conservatives, but the boss always smoothes over their grumbling by saying "Artists....they're different, aren't they?"
We did have to take down one poster, though...the one I put up of a banner hanging in Amsterdem that had Hitler and Bush side by side, and at the bottom it said "Same Shit, Different Asshole".

6. Ewww,,,now Hannity is taking to Zell Miller |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-27-03 04:27 PM by Tripper11
He's calling the Dems strangers in the basement to what the Democratic Party used to be years ago, that he's old and changing parties now makes no sense to him. Well, as far as I'm concerned he might as well, because after what he's said in the past few months, good riddance! edited to add : Miller just said he sees a little Churchill in Bush for his decision making skills! BWAHAHAHAHAHA And both Miller and Hannity are shilling each others books.
Noww Hannity says to Miller...Ok, your good friend Newt Gingrich is here and wants to talk to you.
Scaaary!!! :scared:

Good for you. There's nothing like a little subversion on the job to brighten one's day, is there? ;-)

9. In the '90s, I worked part-time at a "Lite Rock" station |
|
One Christmas Day, out of sheer distaste for the music I had to play, I brought every third jingle and buffer cart into the production studio, bulk-erased them, and put them back into rotation. What the hell, nobody would know until the following day because all I was playing was the holiday jingles and buffers!
No one ever traced that little prank back to me, either.
