He's out in the hallway doing god knows what but whatever it is it involves hammering metal, sawing stone and metal, apparently, and then more hammering metal, which also means he has to crank his radio up louder so we all get to hear the awesome sounds of classic tunes like "Carry on my WAYward SOO-OO-OON!" OOOH yeah!! KANSAS 4-EVA!

It's making me in-fucking-sane. And, I know it's a project like making a new shelf for the supply room or something like that which is useful, but also something that can be done in his workshop as opposed to in the middle of the hall outside my door.

But, it's Friday which means I must only endure this nonsense for a few more hours and then I get a blissful weekend without this racket. So I will now attempt to get into a zen-like state of calm and try to rise above the crazy-making sounds of metal on metal screeching into my little eardrums, focus on the C-Span radio, chill, and if all else fails, get the fuck out the door to lunch.
