1. Here are my fish:

Though that's about a year old, and there are more fish in it now, and I have the cables hidden...

2. How did you hide the cables?
My bearded dragon is in a 55 gallon tank, and there are about six cord behind the tank that are easy to see. How did you hide the cords?

I can't stand those backgrounds that you can buy at the pet store. None of them seem to fit my house. I've thought about plants, but I don't know which are toxic and which aren't to a bearded dragon.

Anyway, your tank is really nice, and when Geo the bearded dragon bites the dust, my tank will become a fish tank.

3. I hid it with slightly crumpled tin foil, shiny side aimed into the tank
the foil being, of course, on the outside of the tank.

I don'yt like those awful backgrounds, either.

I've been meaning to paint myself a background for the last year, but haven't gotten around to it yet. The tin foil is nice, it reflects light and adds some shadows, but I think I could paint a killer painting for it, and I think the added color from a painting would be much better than the tin foil.

6. That's an EXCELLENT idea for fish.
My bearded dragon, however, would try to attack his reflection. :D

Yes, you are an artist, so you could paint a great background. For you, that's perfect. IF you do it, post a photo after you have it mounted on the back of the tank.

4. How are bearded dragons as pets?
We had alligator lizards and hermit crabs back in the day but I never had a bearded. Hell my brother doug had an iguna that was so tame he let it walk about the house and called it Elvis.

8. Bearded Dragons are great starter pets for...
people who haven't had experience with lizards before. They don't grow very big, and they tolerate being handled (hey, they're lizards--not much into cuddling, you know. :D ), and they are omnivores in that they will eat salads or crickets, or even pinky mice. Easy to feed.

We love ours. He's fascinating to watch. I think they are good pets for people who are starting out with lizards, who haven't had lizards in the past.

7. I'd love to have a nice koi pond!
I want one that wraps around the house and goes under the entrancewalks to the house and I want balconies that go out over the water...

12. What if fish ruled the world?
I was wondering if they would go to the pet shop and pick up a bunch of humans. Build us a little city, place it into an aquarium filled with air and watch us grow work and play? And I betcha that the fish aquarium would be only one way so that they could see in but we can't see out. I wonder what if fish ruled the world.

i love fishies

i used to have fish, but i am too too tenderhearted - i grieved deeply and painfully each time one died, so i had to give them all away.

13. I bought a couple of fish today for the aquarium at work.
I got a fancy guppy that is yellow and a female. I just got a dozen mollies orange and black from a guy who had babies.

I don't know how I got the job of taking care of the aquarium, but I did and I have no clue what I am doing. So far I haven't killed them yet.

16. My very own pet peeve
'Fish' = a single individual what is a fish or a group of individuals of the same species

'Fishes' = a mixed group of individuals of different species or, collectively, those of a region, an ecotype, the planet, etc.

Fish: "why, that's a nice fish. Why on earth is it wrapped in newspaper and in my mailbox?"

Fish: "the sardine school consists of about a brazillion fish"

Fishes: "za fishes of za reef ur swamming lahk za ambahr weeves uhrv gren beneazth zee Caleepsoh"

Fishes: "my research specialty is the bhavioral ecology of coral-reef fishes of the Indo-Pacific Region. Ask me anything."

Thank you very much. :P

17. I love to hug my fish.
Sometimes I snuggle up with them in bed, but unfortunately, I still must come up for air when the snorkel falls out of my mouth.
