Poll question: Best Roald Dahl movie, from novel or screenplay? |
|
One of the great writers of children's books, though his books were complex enough for adults, as can be seen just by some of the movies made from them. Plus, he wrote more than children's books. I've left off his television work, just because it's my poll and I wanted to. :P

1. Roald Dahl's books were always my favorites |
|
For reading to my younger son before bed. The grosser the better, such as "The Enormous Crocodile", and "The Twits". Kids love the nastiness!

2. My daughter likes them |

He's one of the few writers she'll read. Also, there have been some exceptional films made from his books, so I don't mind her watching the movies, as well.

3. The Twits! Absolutely my favorite kids' book ever! If I hadn't had kids, |
|
I'd want to have some just so I could read that book to them.
Both of my boys went nuts over it.
