3. LOL! If you are personifying her and speaking to her |
|
perhaps you should lay down with her and become acquainted. :-)

try a hot decaf beverage, chamomile if ya got it.... get some exercise tomorrow AM, knock off the caffein before noon... don't do anything in your bed BUT sleep, no reading or computer... try some relaxing exercises, like sheep counting or self-hypnosis kinds of things.
cultivate good sleep habits and you'll get her back... good luck with the de-stressing! you can do it.... as one longterm insomniac... I backslide some but then I remember what I have to do.

She always leaves when you're looking for her and comes back when you stop.

I'm doing better. My son is eating. The biggest blessing I've been given in this life is the ability to sleep. I have so much sympathy for anyone that can't. I grew up in a tumultuous family and learned young how to put myself to sleep. Imagination is a wondrous gift.

16. Imagine yourself in the most comforting place you've ever been. |
|
Or read about. For me it was always a cabin in the woods. I always had to get there with a snow storm coming, on a horse leading a pack mule, with my dog(german shephard)and about 60 days worth of food on the poor mule. I was usually asleep by the time I got the horse and mule settled in knee deep straw in the barn. Sometimes I was awake long enough to start a fire in the cabin fireplace.

There will be plenty of time to sleep when we're dead. That's what they taught me in medical school.

I'd prefer to think that someone whose hands hold sharp objects in the vicinity of vital organs is getting more sleep than I am.

I'm even more of an insomniac than usual. However, I'm motivated and hyperfocusing, therefore posting on du often.

That's what sleep is.
I've lost all sleep since I've started working overnights and I don't really miss it.
