Are you a jeans or khakis person? |
|
For 7 or 8 years I was a khakis person, in fact I didn't even own a pair of jeans, nor did I want to. However this Christmas my mom bought me a few pairs of Levis and now I am totally addicted to wearing jeans to the point where I haven't worn a pair of khakis in almost a month!
I realize that I have to wear khakis when I have to dress up for work but I must say I am a convert to denim and am loving it! I think I have to make up for all the lost time spent not wearing jeans.
So what kind of person are you?

|
I wear either/or for the most part, but probably jeans more often than not lately.
And my khakis are all the flat-front kind, too-- no pleats, because they make me look fat. :silly:

13. I usually wear military fatigue pants |
|
I've got 'em from three or four different armies. They're baggier and more comfortable and don't chafe like jeans do. But I have both jeans and khakis for when I need them. John Wearing some old West German camo pants just now.

the best of both worlds, I guess. I tend to wear jeans (blue, black or tan) in the winter and khakis in the summer.

23. I wear jeans for casual wear, and for my current jobs |
|
Which may expose me to cleaning products, bodily fluids/excrement/vomit, physical aggression, thrown/spilled foods and beverages, etc.
However in the past I've had jobs where I've worn khakis, and if I get a similar job in the future I'll wear khakis.

28. Jeans all the way, although |
|
I do have a couple of pairs of green colored denim stretchy jeans just for fun. I have a few blue colored jeans, because they didn't have as many black pairs as I wanted and I needed the clothes at the time. And the majority of my jeans are black. I love black jeans.
My most favorite jeans of all were the Lip Service jeans from the 80's. I found a couple pairs of them for $15 a pair, which for Lip Service is cheap, in the early nineties and wore them out pretty quickly. Can't afford them now and they don't make 'em like they used to anyhow. :(

and we have a "business casual" dress code. My lunch buddies and I call it barely business casual. They pretty much tolerate anything except jeans and t shirts. On Fridays we can wear jeans and t shirts but not the rest of the week.

All the ones I see are stretch twill and made for a 15 year old. I don't want elastic waist, granny khaki's but where are the good old khaki's you used to be able to buy?
