Which is better - K-Mart or Walmart?
I know. I know. Walmart is bad.

But, damn, they have the best prices for little things that I need. And right now when I'm out of work that is important.

K-Mart didn't even come close.

1. I hit the Dollar General.
I have found some of the little things there (like deodorant-Dove for example) cheaper than at Walmart.
Otherwise, Walmart is the only game in my town.

2. The Dollar Store or Outlet Grocery Center.
If I have to save money at a chain store, I'm not going to pay more than a dollar or so. Walmart is actually expensive, considering the things that they offer.

3. We have dollar stores - I just need to find out where they are.
I hate to support the Chinese - everything in Walmart is imported from somewhere.

10. Everything at the dollar store is the same at Walmart.
I'm not sure that you're going to find "Made in the USA" products at the dollar store.

We have one but it is miles from me.

6. Oh wow!
You should check it out sometime if you're near it. It's the only store of that genre that I'll shop in.

13. My thought also when I saw the title of this thread.
Target is much better than either of the 2 choices.

9. I'm a hostage to Wal*Mart once a month.
They're the only outlet that carries the kind of cat food my little monsters will eat.

11. Maybe you should consider feeding them raw food.
Better for them, anyway.

(Sorry for the OT, I'll get off my soapbox now.)

sucks blood."

14. I like K-mart
I hate Wal-Mart and if my wife goes, I stay home. Our K-mart is closer and less crowded than our Wal-Mart with less rude people too.
