Anybody use Burt's Bees products?
i was using skin products from another line for about 2 years and at Christmas my friend gave a Burt's bees facial kit that had small versions of their products, after almost a month of using them my skin looks better and the whole line in the full size bottles is about 1/4 of what i was paying for the other stuff. The repair serum is excellent, it's worth just picking that up.

1. What kind of skin do you have?
I tried Burt's and it all seemed too greasy.

7. So it's wrinkle-fighting? I looked at the ingredients, and it's
mostly essential oils. It hasn't given you a breakout?

8. I use their lip balm, and for some reason, my cat loves it.
He wants to lick my face any time he hears the cap come off the tube. I can't stand that, so I intentionally smear some on my finger and let him lick my fingers for a while :)

I think it's the peppermint oil that he digs.

11. I use their Beeswax Lip Balm. It works well.
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 10:20 PM by Hissyspit
coconut oil, beeswax, sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, lanolin, Vitamin E, rosemary extract

Pretty natural, it seems. Not tested on animals, it says.

22. I do. I love it.

The Lip Balm works better than any other I've ever tried in terms of quickly healing sore, chapped lips.

The Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme smells sooo good I almost want to eat it with a spoon!

The Carrot Nutritive Lotion smells good too and really absorbs well into the skin.

The Shea Butter Hand Creme works miracles on very dry, chapped hands.

Also a big fan of their Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. I'm not into manicures and I tried it only because it was a free bonus. But it made my nails and cuticles look so much better, even a non-nail person like me could appreciate the difference.

Now I'm going to try the Repair Serum! :bounce:

23. after reading this post last night I ordered $50 worth of...
Burt's Bees. I had been meaning to pick up some more of their stuff anyways such as the diaper rash cream and baby shampoo bar, but then I read this and bought the repair serum and more lip shimmer as well. Thanks for bringing them up!!

Once I ate a whole lot of Burt's Bees lip balm when I was waiting for a job interview. MMMM! Very calming. ;)
