My reply to a wannabe Freeper on another forum . . .
The thread involved someone looking for a magnetic peace sign to put on their car, the guy got mobbed by people insulting him so I jumped in and smacked them around. Then a guy posted that was using the avatar I have now on DU, I commented on it and thanked him for links to others like it, so some wiseass makes a comment about going to www.treehugger.com or some bullshit, so I replied . . . . . .

"Do you read before you post or just spew nonsense?

You might want to look at what I was thanking him for before making a complete ass of yourself . . . oh too late.

Let me guess, you're probably in your 20's, never been in the military, have a yellow "Support Our Troops" ribbon on your vehicle (the proceeds of which went to China), but other than that don't do anything whatsoever to support them. You're a faux "patriot" who thinks that war=patriotism, but would never dare to put yourself in the line of fire.

Me? I spent 8 years in the military, most in the Army, several years in the National Guard, was a trainer in mechanized infantry and desert warfare specializing in anti-armor. I was on alert for the Gulf War but never deployed.

Have any other wiseass remarks, or are you finished for now?"

12. LMAO . . . his reply back
"let me just start off by saying I'll say when I made an ass out of myself. I don't need your aproval.

and I have no idea what the heck your talking about because I just skimmed trough the thread befor posting. my mistake.

but you were almost dead on: late 20's red, white and blue God bless America ribbon on my other truck.

no I havn't bein in the Milatary but comming from a big family that has I've heard some horrable stories.

now to get back to the subject at hand, I don't want war, hell no. but a peace sign on your car wont solve the worlds problems or America's problems for that matter. Its just not that simple. its ok to be againts somthing IF you have a solution. I haven't heard one solution."

LMAO . . . let's see, can't spell, thinks he's the final decision maker as to whether he's made an ass of himself, admits that I'm right, then tells me I'm wrong . . . he MUST be a freeper.

13. Bullshit
"its ok to be againts somthing IF you have a solution."

So, never ever oppose anything unless you have a perfect plan worked out for how things should go?

See, this idiot needs to realize that when something is wrong, opposing it is the first step in finding out the way to fix it. With fucktards like him at the helm, nothing could ever be made right because everyone would be afraid to speak their mind at what is wrong.

14. Peace signs won't solve the world's problems, and
Yellow ribbon magnets won't make our soldiers bulletproof
