3. Brilliant
I heard it on radio when it first came out. The announcer said that listeners that day had a chance to enjoy it BEFORE it became popular and trite. We did.

The message I came away with was that the historical Jesus was beyond our reach and understanding, that we could not help but view him through the lens of our own society.

8. Brilliant — and the implication is blasphemy
is a bad thing.

Or, maybe it's my inference.

Either way, blasphemy rocks.

10. Brilliant
I've only seen the movie, not a live show, but damn, that movie is so great, especially the ending.

12. Brilliant. It changed my perception of Judas.
And Jesus, for that matter.
