Fort Worth- It is FINALLY raining in Texas!!! After several days of FIRE and dry heat, it is rainging in TEXAS!!! Before this moment, the only source of moisture has been BlueCollar's peeing of the deck! HOORAY!!! Its raining in FORT WORTH TEXAS!!!!

but we were drought for so long that nothing seems to wet us good enough to stop the grass fires.

I just looked at NOAA, and it appears that y'all are getting a LOT of rain, especially in the Longview area. I'm hoping that we get some of it.

It's like that here too (like 12" short on rain) and in winter, two weeks ago, we got a thunderstorm. If it had snowed it would have been 12 inches. But we got lightning, thunder and heavy rain!!!!

I'd give anything for a big, fat thunderstorm that would scare my dog to death--it would be worth it (I'd take care of her, don't worry). We're just so desperate for rain that I'd take anything right now.
