So I just got back from Wal Mart |
|
and on the way home there was a large emergency blockade on the main road, there were about 5 fire trucks a few cop cars and an ambulance and I could see at least twice that many emergency vehicles up the road a ways. The Fire man told us we couldn't go any further so we turned on a side road.
I knew the area and my friend and I both wanted to know what was going on, car accidents are interesting to see. We made a quick turn to try to get closer but the was blocked a little ways down.
There was a second side road that was dirt that I knew. We went that way and managed to get with in a good visual distance of what was going on. However as we were there we saw a plume of smoke and the increasing smell of ammonia, we tried to look at it to figure out what was going on but the ammonia fumes were just too strong and we had to leave, we were down wind from it and my throat was already hurting.
As my friend jammed on the gas and we drove away to fresh air I noticed that many of the houses we were passing did not look evacuated. It was clearly a danger and yet people were still in their houses, sleeping at that. All this happened around 12:45 tonight.
Just thought I would share this story before I went to bed.
P.S. I did not buy anything at Wal Mart.

1. Accidents are interesting to see? |
|
I can't imagine anyone going out of their way to see an accident. That sounds so ghoulish.

2. we were actually just trying to around it to get home |
|
and I happened to know a way around that would come out close to where the incident was.
It was ammonia, meth related.
