We need the moisture, not just for the ground but for the air. My dry skin is aweful.

... were planning to take a trip to the country this morning to water our trees. But, I pulled up the radar and lo and behold RAIN!
It looks like it has pretty much run its course, probably a quarter inch or so, but I'LL TAKE IT!
We were up there between Christmas and New Years, and there was a huge fire only a few miles away. It is scary to say the least.

in Oklahomer...it's raining now, hallelujah, it's raining now! I don't know whether to jump up and shout or faint dead away. It's lasted longer than one minute and it sounds like a real rain so far.

16. Not here--it's starting to clear off in OKC. |

It was cloudly this morning and I had my fingers cross, but NOOOOO, it's all south and east of us.
I'm getting so tired of this weather . . . if we don't get some substantial rain soon, the farmers are going to be out of luck this year.
