reverse lookup of cell phone numbers- |
|
my cell phone was copped out of my car yesterday. it was used for several calls. i have the numbers from the account details. i did file a police report, but they looked at me like i was nuts when i asked if they could check the numbers. (hey, this is chicago.) i tried superpages reverse lookup, but none of the showed up. this usually means they are cell numbers. my cell carrier checked them and says they are not in their network. i would like to at least know if these are people in my neighborhood. they were all in my area code. maybe it was a kid that i might know. i will just call the numbers if i can't find anything soon. but i would like to have some info, first. i would rather appear at someone's front door. i've got another phone, but i want my phonebook back. so, anybody know where to find the names and addy that go with these numbers?

your phonebook info? Hell, if you can buy your records on the'net, they should be able to at least give you a detailed list...

i wouldn't be surprised if they did, but i would be shocked if they would admit it. it is supposed to only be stored on the memory chip in the phone, tho.

8. I think they charge around $30 per look up. |
|
Keep in mind though, that the name they'll give you is the name on the account and not necessarily the person you called. If you were looking up my number or the number of my kids, you'd get my husband's name since our family plan is all in his name.

don't think that you can get addresses through a cell number search, it's a confidentially thing. I chatted with my cell provided, and they do not release that information. I asked about the "pay for info." sites, and they told me that my address would not be listed there! And frankly, that's the way I want it. Just an FYI.

10. i'm gonna try to drop by my caps office. |
|
see if they will just check the one that was called multiple times. if it isn't here in the hood, i will probably just skip it. there aren't any numbers in there that i can never get again, or don't have somewhere. just pisses me off. i had lost track of it for 2 days, and was about to give up. then it turned up as i was on my way out the door. but it was dead, so i had tossed it on the seat. argh.
