Harbor Seals of Southern CA. Dial-up warning.

Went to La Jolla cove area of San Diego and everything was perfect. The weather was stunning and the aquatic mammals were abound.
In spite of rich repugs who think that they rule La Jolla, the seals still rule the beaches around the cove. They have been trying to rid the baech of the seals, even having them illegally towed out to sea, but the seals always come back.





























If I could be any animal other tha a human being, I would opt to be a seal.

There were ant-seal people there too, saying that its their "American Right" to be able to swim where the seals hang out.

I swim with seals every time I go in the ocean. Seals won't care. Yeah, every so often they give you a little "nip", but so what?
They won't hurt you unless you're agressively trying to do something to them.

And I'm with the Sierra Club..life member, myself. The seals have a right to be just where they are....

They WERE here before we were, anyhow!

3. I did indeed! My first day is Wednesday.

I must have passed it. The drugscreen was Tuesday and I had to go in for the results on Thursday. They said that all was OK and to come in Wednesday morning @ 6:30 AM.

but they have more seals in socal -- so maybe their more used to them.
