An acquaintance just died today....
He was a TIRELESS warrior against racism and was very active within the movement for reparations. He was only 53 years old and guess his body just could not take the struggle anymore

RIP Paki

You will be missed.

I will miss seeing your smiling face and listening to the Cardinals with you as we worked on mailings.

1. You have my sympathy on the loss of your friend
Sounds like you have some fond memories of fighting the good fight with him.

4. Thanks. He was a fighter and even though he was
poor as poor can be (he was effectively homeless, doing the couch surfing thing) he fought injustice. Rather than being bitter at his lot he chose to fight the power.

6. Yes he did use it well. I am going to use
his death as a push to be more active. Sine the election of 2004 I have allowed my activism to decline and take a back seat. I am by no means wealthy but I do have it better than did Paki.

Paki, your memory will be for a blessing.

7. Sympathies.
For the next couple of days, his energy is still readily available. If you haven't found this out circumstantially, here's how you can contact him. If you mentally of vocally say you want to be where he is, you'll go right there. You may see/ feel/ sense/all light or/and presence. I'd be surprised if you don't get anything especially in a quiet setting. Once you make contact, you have a marvelous window to have any and all conversations you ever wanted or to just be and let both of your emotions flow freely between you. Focusing on emotions fuels the interactions. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you get. After a couple of days, this intensity of energy will diminish as he moves on.
