I think it was Lippy the Lion's, Hardy Har Har.

1. There was a character named Glum in "Gulliver's Travels" on the Banana
Splits (he was a Lilliputian), who would always say "We're all going to die... We'll never make it" in a monotone voice, when the raft was heading over a waterfall etc. Not exactly the same but that's what came to mind.
