1. I don't like it, but I don't hate it
I wear one when I must, but around the house, the girls are allowed to breathe.

4. is there some kind of confinement to hatred ratio?
I heard from some woman that some huge % of women are wearing the wrong size for them.

This topic has possibilities. My understanding of the subject is that underwires worn 8 hours + are the bane of all females

7. I wear almost exclusively underwires
And my girls are...ample.

I do have the odd bra that can be uncomfortable - 2 of them to be exact (I bought them purely for looks)- but the rest of them are no more uncomfortable than...socks.

9. There is this job you can get....
At the old department stores....

A bra fitter....

You take all these measurements....

And get the right bra...

Now I have studied hard for that position....

It's a job I am clearly qualified to do...

I would be a hands on kind of guy...

I wouldn't rest until all my customers are satisfied...

19. Me neither.
I do think that a good bra (like a good pair of shoes) generally can't (and shouldn't) be bought at a bargain, but a decent bra that fits right isn't uncomfortable at all.

29. I would demonstrate my support by going out to the mailbox and getting
your bra. I could also write a LTTE, if you would like.

Integrate it into a post-modern post-post-Feminist art instalation a la Tracey Emin.

Partial to black.

35. The Revealed and the Unrevealed?
Significant of desire. Lacan would say it is evident of 'lack.' The gap between the revealed and the unrevealed is where you will find the 'object of desire.'

Yeah, put on another one! Lavender or burgundy-colored?

25. It's not that I hate wearing a bra
It's just that they get so uncomfortable--binding, riding up, etc. If I had significantly smaller hooters I'd probably have no problem with bras.

40. If your bras are riding up in the back . . .
you're wearing a band size that's too large.

It's said that 80% of women wear the wrong size bra; the most common sizing problem is choosing too large a band and too small a cup.

smaller strap.
This makes bra shopping something of an ordeal!!!

43. By strap, do you mean band size?
If so, I know of one company (obviously not a U.S. company, since U.S. bra manufacturers infuriatingly only make bras for the very center of the bra size bell curve) that carries band sizes down to 30 (with cup sizes up to N!). And these are pretty, lacy, albeit supportive, bras, not those ugly old-lady things.

If you mean the actual over-the-shoulder straps, do you mean that they're not thin enough or that they can't be adjusted short enough?

I'm actually quite familiar with different brands of bras and am always happy to help someone find a bra that fits her.

running down stairs on a very cold morning in college, I've understood what bras were all about.

But I hate wearing them on airplanes when I'm trying to sleep. Or for more than ten or so hours at a stretch.
