ah, the joys of dorm room living including having to exit the building at 3am because of a fire alarm luckly i managed to grab my coat and shoes, all i had on was a pair of boxer shorts. vary nice monday so far

I remember the dorm next to mind had their residents evacuated for 2 hours one 3 am Monday morning . Smoke was pouring out of the heating ducts . I am glad they evacuated everyone .

it was pretty cold out side, maybe it was the drowsiness and my cold(discussed in the topic "must i swallow this") but i kept thinking to my self "something should be burned at the end of this"

(I lived in dorms for 4 years as an undergrad. I'm 30 and I'm not doing that again.)

I especially liked watching as folk's other-halves silently slinked off into the night....
When I was in a hall at university a good friend and neighbour made sure to be on good terms with one of the sub-wardens so we always had advance warning of scheduled fire-drills. :D
