Yes, we are pretty good friends and enjoy talking to each other over the fence. No, it doesn't bother me (that much) that you are always asking my husband to come over and fix something for you. As neighbors go, you could be far worse. Just one little thing...could you please STOP sending the f*cking snopes-able "ladies beware of this scheme" emails??? No, nobody is waiting under my car to slash my ankles...no, there haven't been any reports of somebody carjacking a car by putting a flyer in the rear windshield in hopes that I would get out...and no, I am not one of those "ladies, guess what? I bet you left your purse in the car"...It's all made up SHIT, okay? And I am not paranoid, and I am a GROWN UP, intelligent woman who didn't just fall off the turnip wagon. Jesus Christ!!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!


These serious "emails" always manage to talk down to women and I've had enough.

I honestly think she just hits forward to anything forwarded to her in her mailbox...and it's really drives me nuts when she's just sent me the same email the previous week!

I feel that it is important to inform you of very important information that I was told. Seven women have died after smelling a free perfume sample that was mailed to them. The product was poisonous. If you receive free samples in the mail such as lotions, perfumes, diapers etc... throw it away. The government is afraid that this might be another terrorist act. They will not announce it on the news because they do not want to alarm us of any danger.

but I have a friend who sends me "girlfriend emails" which I am supposed to forward to 10 people including her right away if I am really her friend, or if I want something good to happen to me, or if I can be persuaded that if I don't forward this something bad will happen to me. It reminds me of junior high school chain letters.

I never respond, because I think its totally irrational and I don't want to reinforce it, but she keeps sending me this crap anyway. :banghead:
