I can't wait to see Jack whip some ass. I got a few minutes left. I need some caffeine!
Monday nights are awesome. I get out of class, go home and watch Keith Olbermann, Jim Lehrer, 24, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report and then finish off with Monday Night Raw. Yes!! It's like heaven, baby!!!! :)

More even-handed and the pace is slower.

The twists are back at the end of each episode - reminds me more of Season 1.
I just got my friend hooked on it. He saw one episode and I gave him the first two seasons. He'll be a long plane ride as well...so he's got some nice entertainment.

8. Another friggin CTU mole? |
|
I love the show as much as anyone else - but this whole "OMG-there-is-a-mole-in-CTU" bit is getting a bit worn out.

10. At least there was a twist on the mole angle this time |
|
Being a mole for the administration and not directly for the terrorists.
I admit that I had the same feeling initially.

12. The mole let in a guy he thought was going to do some |
|
computer work on their servers or something, maybe he thought he was doing some data mining. The guy turns out to be an assassin, and he brought in a tool box and put together a gun with a silencer with orders to kill Jack. He went down to the clinic, killed one of the docs, then sent Jack a message that his buddy Tony (who was unconscious in the clinic) wanted to talk to him. Jack went down there, and on a reflective medical monitor screen, saw a reflection of a man with a gun hiding behind the privacy drapes. They had a pretty good fight and the assassin cracked some of Jack's ribs and nearly killed him.
Backing up a few minutes... The mole, Stewart Wolf?, had gone down to a room with data files of stuff with high access, and Chloe found him down there and ended up discovering he was using a higher level of clearance to track Jack. He was called into discuss with Chloe and Buchanan(?) but wouldn't say anything and kept talking to his lawyer.
Anyway, after Jack killed the assassin, he went to the interrogation room and showed Wolf a video link of what the assassin had done. He said he was working for the White House, for the President, on an internal affairs investigation.
The president is convinced his wife is about to have another nervous breakdown, so his advisor has suggested he get her committed again. She had said int eh past that she'd rather die than go back. When her assistant comes in to help her pack, she figures it out and escapes through the bathroom, possibly with a 10-15 minute lead.
CTU tracks the "hostage" that was working with the terrorists. The used CCTV to track him to a hanger and discovered the pit that held the containers of nerve gas. Curtis calls for bio-weapon team because there are dead vermin and rats everywhere and they discover that it is military weapons grade nerve gas.
Audrey is interviewing the woman whose room Jack had rented (the same woman who is the mother of the teenage boy). Both women are observant enough to see that each has feelings for Jack.
I think this is the gist of the show. I'm sure I left something out that was important, but maybe someone else will cover that for you.

I mean, it totally buys into the whole terror thing, but damn, it is so good. And I love that bong-bong right before they show the time.
