1. That's a pain in the ass, but you can repair it.
You shouldn't have to, of course, but you can get a new end for it from a Home depot or hardware store or a rite-aid or similar. You want the male end. It slips in the end of the hose, and is held on with a clamp. Louisville Slugger for whompin' upside said asshole's head optional.

3. What an ass whoever did it is.
I don't get it. As soon as I saw it it lost my temper, I mean really... :wtf:

I left a mean note and wrapped it all in duct tape. Afterward I wasn't quite sure what that would accomplish but the help around my building, these guys do the worst work imaginable. It's like those "travelers" that roam around the heartland robbing people blind with home maintenance scams but everyone knows where these guys live. It's ridiculous, they break things more than they fix them. Unbelievable!

9. you just need the hose diameter, i think they are 5/8 or 3/4"
the repair is easy, my landlords handy people have done this to me 4 times. it usually has something to do with flushing the heaters.

5. Because, they're stupid enough to do such a thing.
However, I could be in error assuming it was one of the maintenance guys, it also could have been my super who is a serious alcoholic and prone to forgetting almost everything. At this moment, what I do know is the hose which I bought for my neighbors and I to use is unnecessarily damaged and it upsets me greatly.

It was a community hose!

6. Why? What possible reason could there be for cutting the end off a hose?

7. Well, you can just crimp it with something, just fold it over and slip
something over the top to hold it, a wire ring or an elastic or something.

But that said, why should the apartment building pay for the water to wash your cars? As a landlord, I sure didn't allow it. AND I know of horror stories where tenants were running a car wash for profit with their landlord's water... It's not that uncommon.

Sorry to be a buzzkill, but being a landlord is a business, and water isn't free.

8. you can't fix it with elastic. sheesh, she'll have water splashing
all over the place, wasting it and making a mess all over the landlrd's property.
is that what you want?
