What do you do to get the creative juices flowing?
I ask because I'm stuck in my writing. My best muse is alcohol. I write things while drunk that, when read the next day, are deep, profound, inspiring, and surprisingly well written. Unfortunately, I'm underage, poor, and it's a weeknight. What else could I try?

In the novel I'm writing, when I get stuck, I take a day off or two and daydream away. Especially when I'm ready to go to sleep.
DU helps too.

it's worked for me. I don't believe in the "inspiration" to write comes from some etherial nothingness. Either you write, or don't write.
I write. If you can get away from believing that you need "something" to make you write, then you'll write more and be a better writer.
