URGENT!!! Save an animal's LIFE! VERY LITTLE TIME!
This is a forwarded message. The rescue drive has been pretty successfull this last week, but there are still animals that just have a couple days left. If you can, please check it out or send it to an interested party.

---------------
PLEASE LOOK AT THE ANIMALS THEY ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND WILL BE EUTHANIZED UNLESS ADOPTED.
OPEN YOUR HEART AND YOUR HOME TO THESE PETS.
adopt A CAT or two http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=1&pet.Shelterid=NJ75&sort=pet.Identifier&pet.Animal=Cat&preview=true
adopt A DOG or two http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi?action=1&pet.Shelterid=NJ75&sort=pet.Identifier&pet.Animal=Dog&preview=true

These animals will be killed if they are not adopted soon.

The West Jersey Animal Shelter is closing at the end of this
month. The Pennsauken, NJ shelter had it's license revoked due
to alleged unkept and dangerous conditions for the animals. There are
currently 31 dogs and 5 cats on the premises that are in
desperate need of adoption. If these animals are not adopted
by the end of the month, they will be euthanized.

The West Jersey Animal Shelter is open for adoptions: Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and from
Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Phone (856) 486-2180.
you have to copy and paste the link to view the West Jersey Shelter animal site. More information on adoption and these animals need saving.

9. Adding my kick for the fur babies!
If I were still in NJ, I'd probably adopt the whole lot.

10. ok, maybe I'm being dense, but how do I sponsor one of
these babies? What steps do I take, what do I do? Am I just overlooking something on the page, or should I call the shelter? I don't live anywhere near NJ, but I'll help if I can.

Thanks!

14. Update - I just talked to the West Jersey Volunteers

and apparently they were able to place all but 6 or so dogs, who are now being held in a local kennel while they're getting their shots, being prepared for adoption, etc. They had to put two dog-aggressive dogs down (kennel wouldn't take them, apparently) but all other animals were placed or fostered.

They WJVolunteers need some help with the costs of the kennel fees, etc., so if you can send them a check of even $5 or $10 it would help them immensely.

The WJVolunteers number is: 856-845-3860

West Jersey Volunteers for Animals
27 N. Warner St.
Woodbury, NJ 08096

Thank you!
