Wikipedia - Crack for Pedants |
|
Everytime I look up something and end up on a Wikipedia page, I end up editing it. I just spent a couple of hours sprucing up the Cyril Kornbluth and Marching Morons pages. If I could type more, I'd add a page on Half but screw it. I'll do it later.

Any Wikipedia article I read, I usually HAVE to edit; either to add more detail, to correct factual inaccuracies, or to correct poor grammar. (given the time to do it in I'm sure I could probably turn the entries on some subjects into near-book-length dissertations in themselves.)

2. By The Way - Your Mudd Info Was a Big Hit! |
|
Using your big wad o'info as starting point (and a lot of the in-between), I made up a nice genealogy for the in-laws, and it was a big hit. If you're interested, I'd be glad to shoot you a copy of the final result.

I think it gives a good overview on topics. I tend to look a little further on some things but generally it gives me the who what when where and how that I need.
