How does one get unregistered from eBay? |
|
I've had it with eBay after getting ripped off AGAIN. How do I get away from eBay? If anyone knows, please advise as to what actions I can take to be rid of them. I can't seem to find out how to do this via eBay's website itself. Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

and it's been months, so my memory isn't fresh. I just remember having a hard time stopping them from sending me crap in my email.
As best I can remember, you have to log in, go to the preferences section, then go through each selection and make sure you deselect all options that allow any activity on your account (the big one being the emails that ebay sends you--for items they think you want AND official emails for administrative purposes or whatever the hell they call it).
I don't think this is actually "unregistering" but it will virtually cut you off from ebay.

I guess I could be a deadbeat bidder and get out of it that way I'd think (believe me I have thought of it too). Makes me sick how many people are making a living off of eBay and ripping people off. I wonder how the hell they can even look at themselves in the mirror?
I'll check preferences and see what can be done. I am SICK of THEM. It was once an ok place, but now it seems to be filled with sellers that are getting items from warehouses and who knows when they'll get these items (perhaps NEVER). In the meantime they collect the $ and run, run, run. If you leave negative feedback they come back to harass you to death. God I am SO SICK OF eBAY!!! :puke: :puke:
Thank you for the idea.

3. Why would that make you a "deadbeat bidder"? |
|
Are you trying to get out of a bid? I thought you were just trying to disassociate yourself from ebay. Those are two different things. Sorry if I misunderstood your original question...

but I could not pay for items I have bids on should I win the auctions and eBay would likely dump me. It is not what I'd like to do.
I can't find a way to become "unregistered" unfortunately. :(
I'm not going back after this last round of crap, that is for certain.

4. If you're so sick of it, why not just not go there? |
|
If it's filled with things you don't want, just don't go there...

6. I'm outta there as of today |

so I won't be going back but I have some outstanding bids.
If I win these few auctions and do not pay, then I'd be a deadbeat bidder.
What a way to have to deal with people that are crooks.
I won't be going back anymore, I know that much.
